Our mission

Counterfeit and mislabelled inputs cost farmers a whole season, and paper records make it hard to prove what's genuine or to run a tight operation. We build the platform that closes that gap: verifying inputs, digitising the agrovets who sell them, and connecting farmers to the businesses they rely on. Our goal is simple — that everyone in the chain can trust what's on the shelf and what's in the field.

What we build

NextGrow is a multi-tenant platform for African agri-input supply chains, built around the promise Scan. Grow. Sell. It brings together the tools an agri-input business actually runs on:

• Seed and input verification with a native QR and barcode scanner that never returns a false "valid".
• Retail point-of-sale with real stock, honest receipts, and cash and mobile-money capture.
• NextGrow Shamba — a bilingual, offline-first farmer app for plots, soil, crop issues and input requests.
• Inventory, lots, purchase orders and production work orders, with dependency-protected records.
• Document uploads for lab reports and certificates, and an append-only audit trail across every action.
• Kenya-oriented, KRA/eTIMS-ready compliance and recall workflows that stay inert until genuinely configured.

Where we're based

NextGrow is built in Nakuru City, Kenya — close to the farmers, agrovets and distributors we serve. Being on the ground shapes the product: we design for real conditions in the field, real payment methods, and the languages our users speak.

Our approach

Three principles guide how we build:

• Offline-first. Connectivity is not guaranteed in the field, so drafts and photos survive without signal and sync when it returns.
• Honest software. We never fake a result or a compliance status. If verification can't reach a definite answer, or if tax isn't configured, the software says so plainly.
• Security-first. Multi-tenant org isolation, role-based access, rate-limiting, encryption in transit and hardened defaults are built in — enterprise-grade security from the start.
